Yeah, that album, the wall was a piece of crap.
Yeah, that album, the wall was a piece of crap.
Honestly didn't even know there was an opener, we got to the Gahden right before 8. The Lucius girls were in RW's band. They fucking owned the The Great Gig in The Sky.
As for the politics, I knew going in what the production was going to be. I think most of the Trump shit was during Pigs & Dogs. Didn't bother me at all, can't say the same for folks who left when Rog took a knee near the beginning of the show.
I'd never seen any Pink Floyd related show before so this was a bucket lister for me. One of These Days and Mother were highlights among many on the night. I wouldn't need to see another night of it right away but it was a monster show. FKNA!!
Bad ass and great pictures.
I heard him interviewed about the tour. He is more than comfortable with turning fans off and fans leaving if they don't like it. It is Roger fucking Waters after all.
A couple of years ago I watched Kacey Musgraves because she was opening for Yonder at a festival and she is really nice to look at - I really don't like country anything. She sang a gay friendly song to an all country audience and tried to get them to sing along. They didn't. It was awkward. Rednecks.
"Some folks may have the luxury to hold out for “the perfect.” But a lot of Americans are hurting right now and they can’t wait for that." - Hillary Clinton
The guy is known to be a massive douche, he's a fucking antisemite, for Christ sake. Not someone I want to support with my $$$.
He should eat a bag of dicks.
Fuck Roger Waters, fuck him right in his fuck hole.
crab in my shoe mouth
buttah, did you eat dinner?
You act hungry.
Cause I get really angry when I’m hungry.
Just got my tix for Robert Plant at the Buell in Feb. Still touring with the Shape Shifters. Band of Joy was cool and all, but the Shape Shifters are amazing.
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
Oh come on, hippie Mike. Manic Depression? You're so old!
You know what would make me feel better nutmeg? If you lick my balls. I bet I would feel better, if you licked my balls.
crab in my shoe mouth
I don’t do hairy balls, no thanks.
Besides, I’ve been licking the same pair past 9 years.
I don’t see that’s changing anytime soon.
ZING! With a knock-out in the 2nd round, nutmeg is the new tgr champion.
Buttah-On a more serious note, Lush release today and tomorrow at the brewery.
I don’t wanna fight buttah!
I like him!!
He’s so cranky most the time makes me laugh to read his posts.
Also he makes fun of me all the time, he must really likes me, too.
Those boys in elementary school did.
To each their own, from what I've read about his stance on Israel it has everything to do with their current government, not the Israeli people, not Jews and not Judaism.
It was an awesome show
EDM is the jam band for cool kids these days.
Caught Graham Nash last night. The dude still has his chops and his guitar player (Shane) added quite a bit of life to the show.
Speaking about his songs and what inspired his writing was pretty cool to hear.
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy
"The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size."
Not sure I would call Trey technically proficient. He has his own style without question but if it's technical you want in the jam scene, I'd say Jimmy Herring and Jake Cinninger lead the pack there, edginess, proficiency and then some on both accounts. Have to add Warren to that list also but a bit of a different playing style than the others with endless edge.
Keller Williams' Grateful Grass played Stratton yesterday. We went right up front to watch these amazing musicians (Keller was backed by John, Andy, and Andrew from Railroad Earth).

Depeche Mode last night in Oakland. Sounded strong. Played new and old material and got the place going.

A friend paid $200/seat. Was it worth that?
