I hadn't seen that much weed at a concert since the 70's.

He was 2 doors down from me in the dorm I think his brother was his roommate or just always hanging out. Cindy Blackmen who is now married to Carlos Santana was such a badass drummer I was in love with her.
We had some amazing all night jam sessions
I was the best drummer in my high school but I soon found out that I was in way over my head.

Tres cool! Our friends that went with us, their son is heading there today on full scholarship. The show was a kind of going away present. The kid was stoked.

Nice lineup. Haven't seen McLaughlin since the 80s.

Wow. They both killed it. Quite possibly the loudest show I ever went to. London rules for concerts. Apparently no dB limits like CH.

The conan + slomatics split has one of my favorite covers

I'll have to ask how you find these shows for my next trip over there, I have no good way to look for good shows.

Going to at least the first day of this, maybe the second depending on work/friends

I'm going to 4 shows in 5 days this week. I went on the wagon a couple days ago to prepare myself. I'm gonna need a vacation after this week.

So are you lowering your standards and coming to Fenway this weekend?

Ha! Lowering my standards? Yeah, I am a bitch about venues. I need every show to be like Simsbury or equal...seats suck! But, yeah I'll be at Fenway both days...tied to some seat apparently, since we didn't get GA tics. The whole outfield should have been GA.
Actually, every show this week will be seated. Harbor lights in beantown and Meadowbrook also.

Yeah, I'm working but left my schedule open. Biggest concern is having enough energy for my mtn bike ride thursday night

I haven't look at my tickets since we bought, but I'm on the floor somewhere one day and the other I'm near a dugout in the stands. I'll check that out tonight. Spending both nights in town with the wifey.

Weather is looking a little hot...not so great for me. I'll be the guy with the gallon water jug in his hand.

I'm pretty damn excited about the Slightly Stoopid show next weekend at Simsbury. Thank you again for the tickets!

Although I just read about our hotel getting busted for a " prostitue ring" a few years ago..... Should be an interesting trip either way!

    Simsbury? CT?

edit- just looked it up. My hometown. Sure wish they had a concert venue when I lived there. What hotel?
