This is from 2x weekend ago (not all the new snow), but has to be one of my favorite ski days ever.

Most of my favorite people were there, skiing awesome snow, sled lapping ~2800 vert per run an my favorite peak in the area. Started in the dark and ended in the dark with a lot of awesomeness along the way.

All in all, a day ill remember forever.

    A picture of the subject.

    thanks!

always double. Never tow. Sooo much worse for your clutch/belt.

^^^ shows where your priorities are. I might have said it was too hard on my knees, back, and shoulders to get towed, and oh yeah, hard on the sled too. Then again, I'm old!

As awesome as this storm has been, I hope some snow stays on the steeps. Looks like Last steep all the way through Sock-it-to-me slid, lots of stuff on the frontside, the bottom of big chute and Paradise cliffs. Tough to say what else has ripped out or will rip out as soon as patrol starts bombing. We might be back at square one.

You haven't seen the worst of this storm yet. What hit us in Socal last night was insane. My guess is that you're in for alot more starting this afternoon and through tomorrow.

yup. noticed that today when the smoke cleared. Body bad/dead end slid too i heard. Headwall looks better than I've ever seen it, so atleast we got that going for us. Northface above sock it to me looks ready.

PS That video was rad Eric. Dig the ending.

Nice shots KC. Sorry I didn't get any better ones of you. You seemed to always be behind a tree or something.

Even though I don't have a wicked pisser cool screen name, I'm thinking of heading to CB this weekend to make some turns. Advice appreciated on cheap decent lodging and how to score discount tickets.

If anybody wants to partner up for some backcountry fun, I've got the tools and have taken a class and a rescue clinic.
