I love how you don't know shit but you think you do. I spent a decade on a board, and I don't propose to know what you might or might not like to ride. But I do know that I like being on skis better.

But, Alta is full of flat spots, uphill traverses and hike outs. I, and most of the boarders I know, prefer a lateral, or slightly downhill traverse, so they can get to where they are going. Uphills require me to take off my board, and if I am doing that a lot, I'd prefer to not be paying for a lift ticket. Hiking is free.

And for all those who think a boycott will make a difference, get a clue. Alta is a cult. There are way too many families who have an annual Alta tradition for any boycott to get traction. And, they like it the way it is. Sure, there are some good intelligent boarders, but the Alta folks don't want all the other boarders showing up, and fucking up the traverse and making multiple low traverses like you get at all the other resorts.

Oh, and some of my best friends are gumbys, so I have nothing against one plankers. They always, and I mean always, have the goods with them.

I love how you still don't get it. And how you are still telling me I wont like alta because you and your lazy ass snowboard friends cant handle a climb and a traverse. Everywhere I ride I hike and traverse and climb. I could care less how many years you rode a board or a ski. If you cant handle it, keep it your problem and stop projecting your shitty skills onto the rest of us. I love working for the goods. You can keep the tracked out slop for yourself.

I can't even imagine going across High-T toe side. That'd be worst suck known.
But I wish they let boarders, I've been riding there a while and don't get it. I'd be nice to get stoked with my knuckle draggin buddies. Alta, hardly the Jew killers, but lame yes.

I could give two shits if i can ride at alta or not, but if you think all of those low cut traverses are only from snowboarders your kidding yourself. There are plenty of incompetent skiers who cut low traverses....

Alta is for Nazis = The extermination of 6 million Jews.....Hmmmm, not sure that comparison works. Let's try again, Das = Glen Beck.....

Don't know bout ya'll, but when I git myself faceshots at Alta I can't help but shout "white power!" and think bout all them baggy pant, moon boot, hanky on the face wearin sandboarders. They stink, steal everyone's money, lazy, spread diseases, beat children and puppies with swim noodles, only good for doin math and diggin ditches, and...AND I can't understand what ya sayin: "jib-ldy, ching, chang, cheech n chong!" Go back to yer country!

I propose a RALLY TO RESTORE SEGREGATION at all of America's ski area's. We are goin to lock all the sandboarders in the mini half pipe and feed them slim jim's and monster energy drinks.

This is America! Freedom ain't free! Mission Accomplished! Drill baby drill! Lipstick wearin bulldog! You betcha!

Why don't you come up for the next dump, before the lifts start turning, and we can see how well you can get around from the top of the lifts? If you can keep up with us as we sidestep, skate and traverse, to the goods then we will stfu and admit 'Alta is for racist" if you can't, which you wont , you can stfu and go back to Taos. deal?

Since I'm going to Alta this winter I will contribute to this all important thread. Here are some pics I took yesterday out and about with daver, the snowboarder. Really fun day, especially since he set the bootpack.

Why exactly do I have to keep up. Is it a race? I'll bet you $100 dollars you cant keep up on the way down. Meet me in Silverton if you want to dick wave and I'll take your cash.

If I owned a mountain I'd let the side slippers in slippers ride for free while they side slipped the runs into a firm base till Jan. 1, then I'd ban them.

Alta doesn't ban male prostitutes, just snowboarders.

If snowboarders really cared about the ban at Alta they'd quit going to Snowbird. Just sayin'...

You've done gone and turned me from a lurker to a poster with this. It's not that you can't handle the traverse, it's that your fat walking ass is in MY way on the traverse. Snowboarders are great to ride with, but Alta is not the place for them. Go ahead and tell me that I'm just a jong and that you wouldn't clog up the traverses. Then go fuck yourself.

Maybe they would put an extra lift in the right places?

They said the same thing about Taos.

Yeah at Alta it is a race; race to ski pow before a shit ton of fucktards bump it out in a few hours.

It's funny no joke when you see a few fists flying in the lift lines or people getting bowled over in the traverse. Pure comedy. Especially people showing up at 6 am and putting there skis down in the lift lines to reserve their spot upon opening.

    Dear Alta Management,

Allow snowboarders, but make them wear armbands.

    Yours truly

Sounds like they need snowboarders with some level heads, and to flatten out some shit.
