    coomback changes

    Possibly silly question-

Were any changes made to the 2010/11 Coomback, over the 2009/10? The topsheets appear to be exactly the same. Just wondering if there's any reason not to save a little bit by picking up last year's rather than the brand new ones.
that's all i can think of, but i'm sure there's something else...

'snowphobic' topsheet material so snow doesn't stick...or does not stick as well as old ones or something.

Apparently, and this could be nothing more than hearsay, the binding mount area has been beefed up a bit. You might want to email K2 or PM Hop and see if he knows for sure on that.

ya the snowphobic topsheet was the only thing I had heard of. Apparently its just a waxable topsheet. I dunno, maybe its just me but the snowphobic topsheet sounds kinda gimmicky. I would think it would damage more easily than a regular topsheet but I could be wrong.

I am thinking of picking up a set of these for easy goin resort/bc riding. I am an Iggy guy and a waxable topsheet makes a huge difference when touring. However, if you're not sticking dyafits on them and going for long suffer fests, it's a no brainer.....last years. Unless, of course there is something I am missing about the new ones.
