No just see enough McD, Tim Ho, Dairy Q, etc. networks, repair requests and service calls and they all have TV menu boards from companies like Stratocache and the like signage companies.
And if a Fry cook knew the way that stuff worked behind the display, he/she probably would not be just doing grill work at a place like those.

How does that apply to the smut allegedly found on his phone? I’m not really tech savvy.

The photos were flagged, they do not say who flagged them, it’s was a referral from the act of uploading the photos.
A search warrant was obtained to go look at the ISP and then the police narrowed it down to this guy.
I’m just rambling here but it seems like there is more to how they got the info.

Different old British sauce, but I always liked this story:
According to company tradition, when the recipe was first mixed there the resulting product was so strong that it was considered inedible and the barrel was abandoned in the basement. Looking to make space in the storage area a few years later, the chemists decided to try it again, and discovered that the long fermented sauce had mellowed and was now palatable. In 1838 the first bottles of "Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce" were released to the general public.
