I've lurked for a while. I moved to Colorado last year from Vermont and see this as a more regionally appropriate forum to be checking out.
Anyone else currently from Fort Collins? Anyone from VT and in Colorado?

I'm 24 and I just recently graduated university. I have Lurked here for over a year before signing up now. Grew up skiing in Eastern Quebec. Spent the first half of this past ski season in Calgary, skiing mostly in Golden though. Moved to Australia for some surfing and ski trips to NZ and eventually Japan.

So in a nutshell, I'm an engineer with a skiing addiction. The only problem with that statement is that I'm an engineer.

I've been getting info and stoke from this site for sometime and decided it's time to sign up and maybe contribute something. I'm a engineering graduate student at Penn State who tries to get on the snow as much as possible.

Hey guys, I'm the owner of Adrenaline Snowsports, soon to be Adrenaline Snowsports Ltd. or LLC (not sure yet). I'm new to TGR but I'm here to get feedback on products, and eventually advertise on TGR.

    desk jobs suck

Ive been hanging in the background of this site for a while and wanted to get in on the action...

I am a 2007 engineering graduate and am quickly finding that it is not the life for me. The job has allowed me to escape the east coast at least, but now I am craving more than weekend trips to the Cascades. Figure Ill put in a year where I am, then attempt to base my life around skiing/outdoors.

I was on newschoolers for a while. They don't use capitalization and punctuation enough. Plus, that site is difficult on my eyes.

I'm glad to be over here now after being a lurker for around 2 years.

I posted mad stoke on newschoolers, and plan to up the stoke 10 fold this winter. Look out.

Been lurking since this morning when I discovered TGR properly-only ever witnessed it by cross post else where. Join because it's the holidays and not only is Scotland wet and cold in winter, it is wet and cold in summer as well. Looking forward to winter and posting whatever stoke I get this year.

    jessejones thread is gold.

    Introduction

Greetings, I've been visiting this forum for about a year now and with a new season just around the corner the time has come to join. I grew up in Colorado but didn't start skiing until I was 10. I now live in western mass and am looking forward to moving to the big mountains after college. I'm a student at Umass Amherst and will hate only being able to ski on the weekends during school. I've got a pass to Magic (you might have seen me there last year) and make frequent trips up to Jay. This winter I plan on exploring and experiencing more of the east coast backcountry and would love to meet fellow maggots who have the same desire.

I wouldn't classify myself as a great skier, at 18 I still have much to learn. I think I can learn a lot from the maggots and look forward to skiing with some of you this winter.

I take a camera with me every time I ski and look forward to putting up some trip reports for everyone to enjoy.

I've been lurking, pilfering solid gear reviews & DIY tidbits in TT for over a year now. Thought i may as well sign up and see if this JONG can give a lil back.

Not that anyone really gives a flying fuck but, I'm a Tacoma native. Got edjumacated in beer pong for 4 years in Hanover, NH then spent the next 5yrs not skiing nearly enough while living in NYC. Moved back to the PNW last summer just in time get my Alpy pass and some new boards and treat out to the sweetest season i can reanmember.

Anyhow, here's to a phenom 08/09 season and the first time i get called a fucktard.

    Cheers

    Hello everybody.

I've heard (well, read) that this is the place to be for skiing and whatnot. Which is why I decided to sign up. So... that's that.

    Hello Chaps! I run Plooka.com.

On this site because someone mentioned it on my Forum and thought I would have a look around. Interesting stuff! So no lurking experience, may prove catastrophic.

Hey folks. Been a TGR fan for many years, I remember watching clips of the week in high school French class back in 2003. Don't know why it took so long to join the forums, but here I am. Look out below!

Just joined from Revelstoke. 3000 acres of terrain inbounds this year. New high speed quad in the North bowl. 5620 ft. Vert. Not bad for a sophomore.

Live in Brooklyn. Ski in Dolomites and hopefully a few days at Wolf Creek or Taos. You have already taught me so much about skis. I hope I can contribute something. Note: my sister and girlfriend are devout muslims who've never been naked.

I live in Philly, I'm from this area, and I desperately want to gtfo of here. I got one advanced degree already and I'm working on the second. My low-income weekend fun has led me to become an expert in ice skating downhill on skiis--aka skiing in the Poconos. I'm taking a year off from school so I can ski this winter, and I'm gonna do the ski bum thing out west. Then I'm gonna take off and do something else when the ski season ends.

Long time lurker...first time poster. For a few years now I've been using this place as a diversion from my desk in the winter and a reminder of the snow in the summer. Finally thought I should sack up and get a name, post something here and there and maybe get in on some good group buys. I've seen alot of cool, entertaining, hilarious, amazing, and otherwise noteworthy shit on here and hope to contribute to the pool in some way.
So there it is, my first post! Feels like looking back up the hill from the bottom, just after you finally tag a line you've been eyeing for a long time. And as you stare back up at what you just did, you think, "Yeah, that was pretty cool....shoulda done that shit a while ago!"
