    2010 Vermont ski swaps

Sure had a lot of fun last season, thanks to all involved, cannot imagine a cooler group of skiers to hang with

Picked up a pair of Praxis Pow's and Moment Tahoe's to add to the quiver. Hopefully there are a lot of days to use the Praxis Pow's.

Looking forward to do more touring outside of Mt. Washington...

Debating what to do about passes this year... Do lots of 2 for 1's at Jay (assuming that sweet coupon appears in the map again), get a bunch of $40 tickets at Wildcat, and buy lift tickets anywhere else it snows, or buckle up and pay crazy $ for a pass somewhere and be more limited in where I go...

Hopefully there are more days like this..

Between the pics posted here and the anticipation of Ullrfest, I cannot even begin to convey how stoked I am for this winter. It makes it increasingly difficult to get work done...

As for this, I think I can help you. I have a list of mountains and slides I want to beta in the limited time I will have off this season. I guarantee nothing. I've had some mindblowing days and others where the bushwacking takes so long there is almost no time to get turns in. Something tells me I will be doing a lot of winter camping this year

    Keep the stoke fire going!

A couple from a past day out with Greg:

Sorry Greg, but I love this picture

And a little winter camping stoke:

It's still summa so out riding, MTC yesterday MTB today. Started out cloudy, but after a haircut hit up the singletrack for some reaction training.

The mossy green rocks are slick and treacherous

A stop at the Alchemist, winner of the 2010 "Best Brew Pub" yet again, for some Heddy Topper. Dare I say EC Mags favorite apres ski?

Not the best pic, but the sun is out, so you get the idea, I hope.

Let's get back in there again this year, eh? I need some revenge.

Nothing like a collapsing snow bridge to wake you up after that trek in

Completely agree. I think you'll enjoy some of the places I want to drag you out to.

Sounds sweet, would love to come along on some trips. See you at Ullrfest.

I keep using the approaching ski season as motivation to get in better shape and study so I don't have to study during the ski season...

Very good timing....pretty widespread frost tonight with freeze possible in some locations.
(not that this will be a cold fall...or that this will stick) ...just will be a nice taste.

Also- and I'll prob. catch some flak for this but I don't care...it's a great service...check out the fiswx twitter/report feed on the weather page. You all can use this this winter. Tweet @fiswx, or text/email to fiswx@gmail.com the snow/weather/ski conditions where you are. It will appear on the feed. If you follow fiswx on twitter you should get all these reports from your friends. The more you do it, the faster the system gets as well.
Anyway....blah blah blah...bitch about spam, whatever, it is for your benefit, don't use it if you don't want to.

I read through this new EC thread yesterday then had a dream last night that it dumped on Mt. Washington and I skipped work to rip September powder all day. I fucking woke up and swear to god it was real.

I really need to start skiing.

In the mean time, more stoke. Stowe woods last season:

Yellowfin, you should talk to I've Seen Black Diamonds. He's living in Brooklyn and doing the regular drive up north each weekend. I think earlier in this thread he reported 15k miles last winter. Almost all of his skiing was BC. Get those skins and look him up....

Oh, and don't forget to take me with you!
