^^Let's not do this again here...
@Captain: We will have to figure this out the next time it gets warm. I'd join you in Ithaca but I still didn't pick up new trunks.
To those men who are born for mountains, the struggle can never end, until their lives end. To them it holds the very quintessence of living - the fiery core, after the lesser parts have been burned away.

Wrong Rooster. [ame="http://tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200040"]Check this out[/ame], maybe it will help shed a little light on the situation. This Rooster makes ski movies too but they premier here in the forums and on his blog, not at the IF3 like the "real" Roosters movies do.![]()

For anyone that skis at these places
I'm leaning towards either Smuggs or Sugarbush. Persuade me if you wish.
Nice pics Buttahflake. Looks awesome up there.
If you ski weekdays, ski Smuggs- the terrain is better. If you ski weekends/holidays, ski the Bush- faster chairs mean shorter lines and more skiing...
I love Smuggs, and I ski there several times a week, but the slow doubles make for long lines... Of course, it means that the trails are not crowded, but that's not enough to make up for the long waits...
come to the loaf and fly high!
may 1st 2010. the bump skiing was all time. barely felt a thing......

Pretty obvious smug skier, pictured above....
Long lines at MRG are 45 mins at worst. They can suck, I'll give you that. The only blessing is it's empty up top, so you do get some reward. I've had passes at SB and MRG.... both are great. SB is much bigger, has many trees, and the snowmaking to extend the season (or keep it going).
I used to ski Smugglers many years ago, so it's been a while, but I know it rocks, too. Personally, I'm doing MRG as it's the best value for our family.
It's a nice dilemma you have...
