I didn't run Magic Carpet ride despite the fact that I've been thinking about getting another run on it for the last 5 months.

I need to get to Vermont at some point with my boat, or even better someone elses, but that might have to wait until fall.

And to think that I spent a ton of time at the put in for Furnace Brook growing up, and went west for school rather than continuing the family dynasty at Middlebury!

i'm actually looking forward to going to work today via my bicycle. it's ride to work week and it's awesome to see some of my fellow co-workers riding to work, rain or rain.

it's wild to think that the 28 mile roundtrip ride to work saves me like 4 bux a day in gas. wish more folks rode to work, school, the store.........does a body, mind, and world some good.

looks like maybe some clearing sunday/monday. will probably head high george way to get on some smooth while the smooth is still there. gonna look like mid june by the time the clouds part, lift, empty out, go the fuck away

maybe see some of you up there.

Yea, wicked bummer. If only there were a way to shred and huck your way thru all this rain........say, in your back yard, where shit is going off on a once-in-ten-year-cycle.

Oh man, I need a creek boat rather than trying to hack my way down everything in my CR.

I also need to not click through all of your videos so I can wake up at 5 so I can make it to the Rapid and Wild sometime tomorrow rather than later in the week.

Gotta move this to the front, nice job. Glad to see some folks found a hole in the weather.

In a precursor to the Rapture we had a flash flood in Waitsfield Warren Friday afternoon. Looks of washed out areas and flooded buildings.
Took this picture Saturday on German flats road, Trench was 7' deep Friday night before partial filling with rock.

Season has changed for me and I got out for a ride Saturday

Cyclewise in Middlebury had a showing of Ducs....

    Matrix Reloaded paint theme

    Diavel

Take the Red Pill, Desmosedeci RR

At $72000 You would think the shifter rod would be attached better.

Should have taken a demo ride on the 1198

Got poured on while riding home, but new Q2's kept it calm. Got out Sunday for a couple hour ride in Waterbury and waiting for todays rainfall. Saw a lot of fallow fields brimming with water, hoping the sun comes out soon.

^^^ Kinda funny - I seem to recall DoucheVT getting all butthurt a few months back because someone posted that a pair of skis had been stolen at an EC mountain and he didn't deem the content of the post appropriate for this thread, yet he thinks this is the spot to post up his kayaking explots despite the fact that TGR has an entire fourm devoted to that kind of thing - for people who actually care.

    Ah, life priorities sometimes...

Almost happy I didn't come along on Sunday, I wouldn't been able to keep up with you and Jonathan.

That picture, is it Jon aka Lftgly? Haven't heard from him online in a long time. Say hi from me the next time you see him.

Hey Nate, great to make some turns with ya!

@Jonathon, nice to meet you finally.

@Rog, good to see you again (oh, and I forgot to extend an open invite for a tour of some Maine surf, whenever).

I heart you guys. Next time you're at the top about to drop in, do me a favor and pour out a little liquor for the death of my ski season.

Fkn awesome work for the last couple pages... I've just been floating on it now that it's melted- A sad state of events but a decent consolation. Schralp it to the last granular bit!

amazing stoke of all kinds lately fer sure!

oh, just wanted to send an invite out to anyone that may wanna share some turns on wednesday. the groomers will be out smoothing things out before the sun and warmth make an appearance for wednesday. i managed to jedi mind trick my way out of another work shift as i had to do the same thing to get up high yesterday as well.

if the current forecast holds, i'll be at the road base for opening bell on wednesday.

oh, funny from yesterday. i think my beer consumption exceeded my water consumption for 10 laps.

as jonathan and i were walking up the road to the easties for some skiing, he was sucking down gu, while i was pounding another bud pounder. i think some of the backpackers were horrified as i tipped my beer at them as we walked by

    mmmmmmm, beer.

    wednesday............

those backpackers don't burn enough calories to know what many skiers know...beer is pure energy food if your cranking out the laps - even on a chairlift.

way to keep the season going strong rog and everyone else getting on the snow up there
