Nice pics TC. You're absolutely right about getting there early. Too many beers at the bike co-op made me a late riser and by noon where you had turned could barely be straightlined.

Still had an interesting run down Cam Am and two great laps on the Jet.

Met up with Kingdom-Tele which was really cool. That guy has some local knowledge (=

    ^^^ nice shot

and great footy buttah! making me jealous to ride.

Yeah First lap was perfect dry spongy pow from top to bottom of JFK. Then second run on ULLR's dream was great up top then turning into cream corn by 10:30. I had parked there, went to stateside to find KT as he told me he would be there by 12 I waited a bit but had to get going. Glad you guys got some. Views were great today off the tram deck.

sorry I missed you TC, 15 minutes can seem like an eternity, I know. Glad you made it early. the skiing was just like me I guess, slow motion
maybe I need to get a cell phone

good to meet you Mr. Rudeness - good luck with the river boat ride!

^^^^ ha guess I should have been more clear, I would have waited 15 min for you no doubt. But I got there at 12:34 and saw the silver subie glistening in the sun and no KT. Figured so you had just started and could be hour and half wait. I was done by 11 but sat with some Jay employees discussing current and future safety initiatives at the mountain and lost track of time. Sorry dude!

    Hey,
    Greg?

I'm Bryan's buddy from back home.
I think I crushed it with you a couple days this winter. One in paticular when Rolling Thunder/ White lightning was roped.

    I'm Eddie.

Now we meet on the interwebz.

So I posted in sprockets and the work forum and no luck. We're looking for a few good people at my shop. We need at least three salespeople and three mechanics. If anybody in the NY metro area has spent time working in bike shops and needs a job I've got one for you. Our SOHO store keeps breaking records (did as much $$ yesterday as the average US bike store does in a month) and we are opening a new store in Brooklyn next weekend. Gimme a shout if you or someone you know meets the req's.

I'd only do this if your sells ONLY fixed gear bikes with mini handlebars. That's what all the cool kids ride these days and I wouldn't be caught dead on anything else.

So looks our Mother's Day snow trend worked out. Let me see if I can dial up one last one for all you. I sent a two footer to the Wasatch in advance of Jort-Ski so my powers of persuasion are limited. Perhaps however spray painting the Yakima roof box to honor Ullr will appease him. We shall see.

Really nice day riding the lifts at Jay. They could probably make it work next weekend with a little bit of effort but I did not sense any desire to do so. Much of the Jet appeared to have several feet of base so it should be good skinning for a few weeks barring any untoward weather events.

Props to the young 'uns ripping up great big ol' chunks of fast grass yardage today. This crusty old bastard will be right behind you once I start ripping my new rockered skis next year

meatheads crew was filming today. and yes, the younguns were killing it on the grass.
i've got rockered skis but won't ski the grass when there's snow available

Most impressive though was the dude rockin' the sweet mullet and what the wife dubbed the "Achy Breaky Heart" costume. That young man was LIVIN' IT!

Was it really 6 years ago that we skied with you? Damn, time flies. Looks like you had a great time! Wish we could have been up there this weekend to see you, but we're putting our house on the market a week from today and we're busy sprucing it up (did I say "busy" -- I meant ridonkulously crazy busy).
