The Zombie Apocalypse is upon us!!!!!
good thing I have chickens that give me eggs in my barn.
Dollar sign that bitch.
Remember - all eggs come out of the chicken's ass/cloaca.
Eggs are under attack. Why? Tucker C says it so it must be.

"Tucker Carlson claimed that the nationwide egg shortage that has hit the U.S. in recent months is the product of a conspiracy between the media and the Biden administration."
Holy shit... I was wondering where the usual suspects in my SM feeds were coming up with this egg-outrage.
It's all becoming clear now...

It's impressive that the link in the OP still works, I'll say that. Are we worried about eggs again?
That's less than a dollar apiece for a miracle of nature, but okay.
We paid $8 for 18 on Sunday so not too bad but they're large not XL and they're not brown.
Oh, and Safeway/Vons had eggs today for $8/doz for regular white xl. Or the big case was $28 for 60. What a steal!
Hoard up your eggs, they will hit $20 a dozen soon!
Achooo, your yard birds are gonna revolt one day.

watch out for snakes
According to tucker, the loss of 140k hens is contributing to the shortage of eggs spread out among 327,000,000 hens nationwide. If we do the quick math that is a 0.0004 % loss in one fire, right?
If the hens aren't laying eggs maybe their on strike, or part of the great resignation. Chickens have been abused employees for too long and they don't have to take it any more.
Anyway, as Otzi pointed out, an egg at current prices is still ridiculously cheap for the value you get.
Now about cornstarch--I've had the same box of cornstarch for at least 10 years, probably longer--so why does it have to run out right in the middle of the great cornstarch shortage. I've been searching for weeks. The stores don't even have a spot on the shelf for it anymore.
The loss-leader at Natty G's here in town are their eggs. Regionally grown, brown organic free range yada yada are still $3.49 a doz, limit 2 cartons per person. Granted, they are sold out most days now but I've had luck mid-week when the locusts are gone.
^^Yeah, the local eggs at the local grocery are still $4.50/dozen. Pretty funny to see the comparatively cruddy eggs next to them for more money. There’s also a lady in the parking lot selling them out of the back of her suv for $4. Haven’t tried those yet.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
I was not aware that there is a cornstarch shortage. Seems a bit odd.
Our chickens started laying again after their winter break and they're going at it with a vengeance. Gonna start trading eggs for favors as I'm already eating 3 a day and I can't see my cholesterol handling an increase to 4...
