Yeah, got woke up for the second night in a row to the sound of loud torrential rain pelting the roof. No idea what time last night as the clock was blinking. My whimpering lab then kept us awake, she no like thunder.
Looks like a break for a few hours, gonna go rail some moist dirt

I drove over Carson Pass this morning around 10 a.m. on the way back to SF from Vets compound and there was snow on The Sisters, Round Top, and the peaks that are kind of South/East of Luther Pass, basically anything above 10,000 ish feet it seemed.
Not really enough to warrant skiing, but not a bad start to the winter base.

Just drove over Rose (Slash Fuckin' rocked!!!), and it was only snowing right at the top and through the meadow, pissin' rain the rest of the way, mostly rain with a few flakes mixed in by the ski area.

I love seeing the weather too.....but that link is above 10k feet. Click down to 8000 and it says Rain. That said peeps on this board have proved me wrong before with early skiing.....so I will keep looking for the first TR. Originally Posted by livefreeordie
