    Seatpost diameter question??

    Here's the situation:
The old seatpost is 26.8, the new one is 27.2. Generally speaking, is there wiggle room? i.e. will the 27.2 work, or should I return it and get a 26.8?
I know you are thinking, why not just try? - I put in just the tip (jokes go here) and am worried about scratching up the new post making it un-returnable if I try to force it in...(and here )

    thanks.
