this flick is a crazy blend of several different genres. it starts out slow and builds up gradually, but it's worth the time and effort that it takes to get sucked in (and believe me, you'll get sucked in hard).
very British, very violent, and very twisted; it surprised the heck out of me (although it has quite the sterling reputation amongst genre aficionados and was a hit at several festivals prior to release).

This series comes from Manitoba and proves that Canadian TV is totally f@#ked up (in a majorly good way). This ain't no Sweet Valley High, that's for sure.
A complete off-the-nuts stoner's wet dream genre mash-up that pays obvious homage to Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Scooby Doo, The In-Betweeners, Jay & Silent Bob, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Spinal Tap, Ferris Bueller, Parker Lewis, and many, many more, as well as containing references to countless heavy metal bands/icons, heavy metal musical mythology (pay attention to the name of the high school), demonology, classic Greek/Roman mythology, short stories like "The Monkey's Paw", classic horror films (The Exorcist, amongst others), cult films (Flesh Gordon, The Little Shop of Horrors, amongst others) all wrapped up in a familiar "high school can be hell" motif lathered in completely un-PC splatter comedy, not to mention a plethora of advanced (and, or course, pedestrian) dick & fart jokes. Lots of stuff going on in this series if you really pay attention...

All.I.Can was a disappointment. The sessions we had already seen here (JP skiing through town to the bus and the septagenarians truck shuttling BC lines were awesome but the rest were - meh.)

This just popped up for streaming. It's the third movie to feature Ip Man and is pretty much set up as a prequel to the Donnie Yen films. Of the four Ip Man flix I've seen (Ip Man, Ip Man 2, Legend is Born, The Grandmaster), it's one of my favorites and definitely worth a watch.

Freaks and Geeks Holy fuck! Best show ever, had never watched an episode until yesterday.
Now, I know that sounds retarded, but in my defense I was living in North Jersey in 1999.
