Beat me to it. She indeed had it coming, I'm surprised it took so long.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Gourmands, foodies, and lovers of the Japanese work ethic, check out Jiro Dreams of Sushi. Fucking awesome. We should all be so lucky to find something we love so much.

Cocaine Cowboys is amazing, the sequel isn't bad either.

Been enjoying the Kung Fu films again lately. I watched Jet Li's Fearless the other day. Not Ong Bak good but not bad. And for dessert, Jiro Dreams of Sushi made me pretty hungry.

The Swordsman is great Jet Li flick... I used to own 200 VHS Kung Fu Movies, then replaced those with about 275 Kung Fu DVDs.. then I got a girl.

If you make music or like Nirvana, the "Nirvana: Nevermind" rockumentary is really good. Several parts show Butch Vig in the control room playing individual tracks isolating single vocals and instrumentation while explaining to the viewer what was going on. It is really awesome stuff. Worth watching

I would say "Definitely watch if you're a fan of the best film in the world."

Charles Bronson at his absolute best.
    Claudia Cardinale

    Any questions?

Freaks and Geeks. All star cast before they were famous. A real shame that it was cancelled.

Headhunters was awesome. Been on a thriller kick lately, and this one was full of twists and turns, and featured plenty of action. Super fun.

Just watched Elite Squad: The Enemy Within a few nights ago. Really good. About corruption in the Brazil police. If you liked City of God, you will like this. Another one I watched recently was Holly Rollers. Not a great movie by any standards, but an entertaining film based off true story hasidic smuggling operations.

Think I'm gonna give Head Hunter a shot tonight.

^^^ I just watched Elite Squad as well. I almost bailed during the intro, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I was impressed.

This was excellent! Watched it cuz I remembered it was mentioned in this thread, so thanks!

I've said it before, but anybody who hasn't watched Firefly needs to give it a shot. My favorite TV show ever. The 2nd season of Nikita and the 3rd season of White Collar are up, and both worth watching.

Also watch Ronin recently, and thought it was decent, but not De Niro's best work.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already but Nordwand is up on Netflix Instant. I just watched it and it is pretty much the best mountaineering flick ever. About the groundbreaking Kurz/Hinterstoisser attempt on the Eiger North Face that ended in tragedy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Face_%28film%29
