If you like Christopher Walken, "$5 a day" is a quirky low budget indy that's pretty good with an appearance by Sharon Stone in full cougar mode. Walken takes "dirtbaggin" to another level in this film.

Archer rocks. I'm nearing the end and will be bummed when I'm done with it.

Perhaps you'd be more comfortable on epicski or Paula's Ski Lovers, AltaNancy.

Looks like fun, reminds me of some maggotfests of the past.
They should do one in Reno, home of the national bowling stadium.

Not sure if it was mentioned here yet...

    Snow on the Bluff

Other than the fact that they should have included subtitles to understand what the fuck the characters are saying...this movie was crazy. I was gripped.

Executive Producer is Michael K. Williams (AKA Omar from the Wire) said about this film "Everything that is wrong with the hood, is in this movie"

So the Mrs. and I dorked out and started watching Tron: Uprising. Unexpectedly good for a kid's cartoon (think Avatar: the last airbender quality). Aeon Flux animation style + Tron story + Daft Punk inspired soundtrack = pretty awesome.

    Yes, I'm a dork.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Happy People: A Year in the Taiga, by Werner Herzog, is awesome. I want to go to Russia...

    Over-The-Top Kung-Fu Double Feature:

Serious Old School-meets-New School aesthetics that combine the zaniness of vintage Jackie Chan (Project A, Wheels on Meals era) with the period elaborateness of Jet Li (Once Upon A Time In China, Tai Chi Master) and solid fight steeze of Donnie Yen (Wing Chun) and a heavy dose of videogame and comic book flair.

Lillyhammer- Silvio (Van Zant) from the Sopranos type character moves to Norway. Relatively entertaining from the culture clash POV.
