A bit slow to start but gets good. I've watched all of it. Admitted sci fi freak here too.

Dark. The voice over is definitely weird at first but they do a pretty good job considering. Worth watching despite the somewhat obvious ripoffs of Stranger Things and maybe a little Back to the Future. I will keep watching.

On an impulse started watching "Glitch" last night. Worthy of a look so far.

A friend from High School is Assoc. Producer and one of the original creators of Godless.
I liked it. The cinematography was amazing. Filmed in Santa Fe.
The story was good- could have used a little more character development maybe.
I told her I want a spinoff of the German lady's (Martha) story prior to LaBelle.

She says that most of the women in town were created based of historical memoirs of different women of the west.
I thought that was pretty cool.

I thought Mindhunter, and the one about the Unabomber were worth a look. Stayed up way too late watching those.

ok i'll chime in on She's Gotta Have It from Spike Lee. First couple episodes were sex-heavy, but that seemed to drop while the plot grew. And the musical score is off the fuckin hook.

    Hired Gun

Watched it last night. Really good, not quite great. I was hoping to see more focus on the session guys that made shit happen in the studio. No punches pulled though, it seems. Long-time musicians dropped like they were never part of the band. Saw some of this in the Tom Petty documentary as well. I'm sure there's a lot more to these stories, but I keep walking away from these things with the feeling that a lot of "solo" musicians are pompous asses, talent notwithstanding.

Also, I've never been a fan of Billy Joel, so I appreciated the heavy confirmation bias.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

It was pretty good. 'The Wrecking Crew' was way better.

4 episodes into Godless, know it was covered earier but I like it. Surprised how well daniel does evil. Hope the eventual confrontation pays off. When there is this much set up they rarely do...at least not since Rocky KO'd clubber Lange.

Godless was real good. If you liked the “sci-fi” aspect to it, be sure to check out Bone Tomahawk.

    "Sci-fi"???????

And concur on Bone Tomahawk - the quality, that is ...... much better than Godless; more complex, better storyline, better characters, pretty much everything.

BMX Bandits was her US intro. Dead Calm introduced us to her T&A.

Mindhunter, IDK. First couple episodes were really engaging, but they spent three episodes on the convoluted Altoona murder, and lost me a bit after that. It’s probably just a matter of expectations, but I want more crimes and psychology and less character development. I’m being picky, though. The acting and the possibility that Holden will become a serial killer will keep me watching

Anybody into Glitch? Just starting season 2, thumbs up so far, though it seems to have a strong potential to jump the shark. These "dead come back" dramas didn't last long here...
