wish I could do the subtitle thing. for some reason it just makes me crazy on TV. So many FL shows that look really good.

    Watched this last night:
    https://www.netflix.com/title/80238360
Never heard of the Bert Kreischer before, but he's pretty darn funny.

I guess this is his famous bit (it's really funny):
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Haven't watched that one, but does he do "the machine" bit? That's a good one.

I was watching it with some Orthodox friends in Connecticut in Hebrew and it was too hard to follow. Watched it by myself with the English overdub and found it to be very interesting, looking forward to season 3.

Started watching 100 about five episodes in. Seems like a modern remake of Lord of the Flies, wondering if it's worth it to keep watching? It seems interesting so far.

Disagree, this show had me thinking more than most and I thought the shocking disjointed reveal was icing on the cake.

Got about 15 minutes into the first episode last night when the kiddo threw up his room and that was the end of the night. I'm not wild about the English dubbing so far. I'd rather it just be all subtitles personally. Going to give it a few episodes, though.

Definitely don’t let your wife let you know you let your 13yo watch it.
Great show to watch with your 13yo & laugh at immature, violent, graphic, adult themes

This is all I keep hearing about Maniac.

    So I'm 7 episodes in...meh.

I really want to like it. To be enthralled, intrigued, and charmed. But when watching it, the only thing I feel is that I haven't found the right drug pairing to reach that state.

Hope I'll start enjoying it at some point.

It's like Dirk Gently season 2 is hate fucking Dirk Gently season 1 without a hint of whimsy, while sitting next to Charlie Kaufman in a dirty sticky stained and smokey beat-up rouge velour theater, watching some 1970s psuedo-futuristic gritty film noir Kubrick rip-off that is 68 minutes too long and ends with no point or reason, ... but not in a good way.

There's a big backstory in the show that doesn't get any dialogue. I wonder if there is a 2nd season, if it will address it.

Makes me wanna go back to Japan.
