Just got pointed to this one: Liquor Run. Tells you where the nearest liquor store is. Brilliant!

Shazam is worth the money, use it all the time. It does get stumped though.

I'm loving the backcountry navigator application. Has pretty much replaced my dedicated GPS. Includes downloadable topo maps.

Looking for a camera app that does better at point/shoot than the stock camera on my EVO 4g.

I got the EVO because (supposedly) it had a good camera, but the basic point/shoot pics I take are terrible. It takes forever to focus, so much so that I lose the picture I was trying to take every single time (unless it's a still life ). And the pics it does take look poor.

A new camera app seems like it might help, but I'll take any and all tips.

Anyone using a good lock screen replacement? Something with time and date, notifications, and maybe a calendar widget? I've tried a few lately that all come up way short.

I've been playing this quite a bit since you recommended it. If anyone remembers Snood, it's the same thing. Defintely addictive. Some of the levels are hard as hell to get past. Good recco.

I'd like to find a good "to do" list app. "Clear" for ios got a good review in today's NYTimes, I'd like to find something similar.

Check out Tasks N ToDos Pro to see if you like it. I got it free a while back on Amazon "Free App of the Day"- You can preview the Tasks and ToDos (Free version) or just go to Amazon on a PC and Test Drive the Pro version if you want.

Another is called Remember the Milk (Free) that I have not tried but gets pretty good reviews.

Thanks, downloading Tasks N Todos free version right now, we'll see how it goes and I'll report back.

I was looking for a basic check register/ simple finance (recurring bills, etc.) app. Downloaded one that did not even have a way to require a password, so never used it. I just downloaded and installed MooLa.

Also may have been mentioned before- but with the price of Gas- GasBuddy telling you the distance and cost of gas at stations nearby.

    Have you tried mint?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I spend a lot of time doing crosswords using Shortyz.
