Any time you make a statement that starts with "Not to be a dick" you can count on it becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. No that your points aren't valid or anything, delivery however is everything. To side with Iggy, it's slow around here this time of year and a prerelease in my mind is of potential interest to any and everyone here, and is more likely to be seen in ski/snowboard.

So, I'm just going to be a dick straight up and say fuck off

I don't really mean it actually, but that's just how I roll.

So time of year is the determining factor for considering something spam or not? Great argument there Lou.

Look at other hard good/soft good producers on here? Do they spam ski/snowboard? Iggy did it last year and again this year. This IS the main page and an argument can be made that companies who get major viewing on the main page pay for advertisement. Iggy does not. Why does he get a pass? Because he is a new business? Gear Swap is where this should live.

Last years thread was more than just a pre-sale announcement, it was whole background and history of ON3P, from idea to conception, prototypes, new factory and then product. I understand what Advres is saying and he's probably right. This thread could be moved to Gear Swap and/or Tech Talk.

Not that I really care though.

Incorrect! There were two threads last year. One that went into detail about the shop, the process, the prototypes, etc. Then they announced the pre-sale with an almost identical title to this one with 2009-2010 in the title.

[ame="http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164091"]ON3P Skis is now officially taking pre-orders for our 2009-2010 skis! [/ame]

when you build a ski company out of a 300sq ft garage while finishing and defending a thesis, you get to post wherever the fuck you want.

They ran banner ads most of last winter - maybe the whole winter? I think iggy is playing fair.

Sick, sick, skis and I just hope my wife lands the job she was cold called about today so I can order another pair.

No, just too busy to care why you would apply the reference to me.

You take your self way to seriously.

    Edited to add:
It's easy to see why you have earned the reputation as a whiny little bitch.

I see your point however the line for me becomes Ski/Snowboard = Stoke

None of the other threads I've seen of new companies hawking gear have produced as much stoke as the ON3P presale thread did last year (granted the stoke didn't come until the skis started being shipped).

And as stated earlier, if Iggy is going to monetarily support these forums, and if the thread is pretty clearly labeled I'm inclined to look the other way.

    +1.
I just wish I didn't already have so many nice pairs of skis, so I could justify buying a few pair.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

I think Advres is right. But it isn't enough of a transgression to get the tgr collective panties in a bunch.

The skis look great, but plaid? Really? That said, I really like the specs on the Vicik. It's what the goatama should have evolved into. Seriously considering buying a pair.

Stop ruining the thread you cunts and chirp in about making a 191cm billy goat

By the way, those aren't lips on the topsheet...they are helicopters (or do my eyes lie)

Didn't know the guy, but yeah, that's what I figured. It's cool that you're honoring him with a ski that with those specs, will probably end up on a lot of feet.

The Vicik strikes me as a really well thought out addition to an already pretty complete lineup. The JBS was a good foundation to build from, I suppose. If I find myself in need of a ski halfway through the season it'll probably be that or Wrens.

Skis and graphics look sick. How have the BG changes altered it's on-snow performance?
