Don't work for BOYNE ( Bend Over You're Now Employed ). The employees at Moonlight always seem happier. The employee living conditions at BS are terrible. Passes are cheaper next year and you will enjoy life more if you hook up with some roommates and get your own apartment. The condo you mentioned before is close enough to walk to the ski area. Show up in the summer, camp if you must and hang out and beat the bushes for a night job.

    Hey!

I'm in the same situation! But I want to go to Baker. Has anyone here worked at the place? How is the vibe up there?

Hey man, I can't really help with your question, but I have a couple of friends going to school at Western Washinton next year that are going to be looking for riding buddies next year if you want to get hooked up with some good riders when you get there.

growing weed, ski/rider, working at baker.... I don't know man it's pretty crowded around here and it doesn't sound like you'd really fit in

    Hehe, sounds great..

    Not to hijack but,

Is it hard to get work at the resort?
Anyone with experience from working there, is it o.k to take a lap or two when the big crowds aren't around?
    Looking for the next turn..

    you can...

    1. work restaurant. morning and noon shifts. morning shifts prep food and premade stuff, ride the after noon. noon shifts cook but powder in the morning
    a. most people live in glacier and hitch rides to the hill
    b. or live in the dorms at the hill which are pretty shitty but its what you get for living the dream

    2. work lifts. usual 'rotation' runs
    see # 1 a and b

    3. teach
    a. most people that teach, teach groms, are in it for the free pass, and are students in bellingham which means commuting 15x 2 days a weekend during the season at $10/trip for gas

#1 rule for ski bumming is DO NOT WORK for the mountain! Work a night job during the winter and during the summer you work your ass off saving for your pass.
