    2011 Rossignol S6

I'm wondering if anyone has tried the 2011 S6. On paper, they seem like they would be a good daily driver, with similar flex and feel to the S7 but with more contact length and tail width to help on groomers and hard snow. A gradual full rocker is there to help with 3D snow. They're probably not quite as nutty as the S7 in blower but I could see them being better all-round. Does this sound about right?

I think the Katanas are better daily drivers overall.

It really amazes me how mad everybody is about the gear.
Even really good skiers like the TS.

    I actually have skied it.

First I was worried that it would be too much camber and the classic feel of the old S6/Ravyn/Steez/whatever you call it would be lost, but, I was happy as the amount of rocker (not too drastic) just made it easier to turn and kept the versatility of the old ski. Comparing to the S6 I think the S6 would make a better touring setup and better for "most days", that is unless your "most days" are powder days, then there are few replacements for the S7.
Switch powder skiing, while mostly useless, may be the missing link between skiing and snowboarding
