That's a nice choice to have. In no particular order:

    Hard Rock.

Insane pool scene, great clubs, and the circle bar, which is almost like a club in and of itself. It has some good restaurants too, but not as many as some of the other establishments. The rooms are OK, but not spectacular. If a fancy room is what you want look elsewhere.

    Venetian.

The Venetian has Tao, which is one of the top clubs in Vegas. I don't like it as much as Pure, but it is still pretty sick. It also has Lavo, which I have not been too. It has plenty of other great lounges too. The dining is awesome, with numerous great restaurants. The pool is good, although not on the level of the Mandalay or the Hard Rock. They have a separate pool, called Tao Beach, which I have not been to. I believe it is the more adult one. I would have to say the Venetian is below the Hard Rock when it comes to the pool, but above it in other regards. I love the Venetian because of just how much there is to do there.

    The Wynn.

New, and very fancy. The Wynn has Tryst, which is a spectacular club, one of my favorites. It has lots of great restaurants, and a terrific casino floor. I have not stayed there, but I assume the rooms are awesome. I don't know that I would pick it over the Venetian.

    Caesar's.

The rooms are probably not quite as nice, since it is older, but there is a lot to do. Many fun lounges, a huge gaming floor, and Pure, which is an insane club. I don't know what the pool scene is like, but I am sure they have improved it.

Many of the big hotels have adult pools, like Bare at Mirage, or Tao Beach at Venetian. They have discovered that having Hard Rock type pool parties is good for business. The best of the Sunday parties, of the ones I have been to are Rehab(Hard Rock) and Wet Republic(MGM). Those are insane, but it might not be what you are into. Drinks are incredibly expensive. If I were going just for the pool, I would pick Hard Rock. For everything else, Venetian.

How into the mega clubs are you? If you are not with a group getting bottle service, getting in can be very tough. If you stay at the hotel where the club is, you might be able to get the hotel to help you get in. Don't just walk down and stand in line though, that does not work. Sometimes a bribe to the door guy will get the job done, but expect to pay at least 100$. If you are with a chick, there are promoters who can get you in, you just have to search Craig's list. I know the Venetian will help hotel guests get into Tao, I don't know about Pure(Caesar's) or Tryst(Wynn) as whenever I have been there it has either been with a group of guys(bottle service) or with my girlfriend.

Even if you are on a list it can take a half hour to get in.

One word of warning about the topless pools: The one's I have been to have not been all that great as far as the viewing goes. I would rather go to a Sunday pool party, Rehab or Wet Republic. Those are off the hook. If you are going with your chick, make sure to wear shades, and have her walk in front of you. Doing those two things will make it easier to stare without getting caught.

If the super clubs are important to you, I would call the hotel ahead, and see if they can get you line privileges. As I said above, some of them will do that. You don't want to stay at Caesar's because of Pure and then wait two hours to get in.

Hope this helps. I have been a 2-4 times a year, for the last 12 years or so. Lots of fun for a guys trip, and also fun with your girlfriend, although that is a bit of sand to the beach.

You can have fun wherever you stay. Some folks on here will probably prefer the Fremont area.

FYI non-VIP rehab cover charge ranges anywhere from $40-200 per head (depending on ??? who knows what). Beer and well drinks are $17 and the good drinks are like $25-30, plus gratuity. The only thing "off the hook" is the waiting line to get in.

If you really insist on checking it out - just book a $169 room (also seasonal / sliding scale, so YMMV) on a Sunday night and get the two complimentary pool wristbands. You skip the line too. Although I hear they may not be including pool admission with Sunday rates anymore, I haven't personally verified this.

Rehab is an amazing party but IMO has become "the place" for a bunch of douchnozzles. I personally prefer a smaller party...Wet Republic is good but the pool scene at The Hotel is as good as I've found.

As for the clubs, unless you are with a group getting bottle service and the works and you aren't paying or are independently wealthy..I'd skip it. Tao and Pure are $$$ however if you like that scene.

The "O.G." Las Vegas pool Party used to be Wednesday nights at The Orleans and was f'n cougar central. They had live music (often Tommy Rocker) and the cover was $5 with super cheap drink specials all night. Shortly thereafter the Suncoast started doing one on Thursdays, then the Mandalay Bay was the first "real" big one.

    Man, times change.
