    Anyone working for the census?

I just got back from India and I'm starting to look for work again. then i got a call out of the blue (I applied last spring), do you want to issue the census door to door for pretty OK government pay?

    "sure".. it seemed interesting.

anyone else working for the man?

My dog is anti-census worker walking up to our house but a friend of a friend does it and I haven't heard any complaints. He was unemployed for a while before the census thing.

My old boss who's been on unemployment for 2.5 years just got the call. He went from 150k/yr VP of a development company to this job. He hasn't started yet, but he's stoked to being able to just have somehwere to go in the morning. Our county has a 18.9% unemployment rate. People around here think just working is 'interesting'...

Have buds who did it in sf last time around. The whole operation was so hapless they called it "the senseless". Sounded like a fun summer though-

They tried to send my female roommate and her friend into the worst parts of Boston for $22 an hour,. They said they didn't feel safe there at night and were told to take a hike. They asked for any other town or part of the city and got nowhere. Both of these girls live in Dorchester and can handle 90% of the city, just not the part where gang bangers shoot themselves in the head when police are going to catch them.

If you pack heat and want to make $22 an hour, hit up Boston.

From what I have heard, the bad economy has really helped the census, as they have been able to attract a highly educated and skilled workforce this time around.

I have a lemon and a lime, and am unable discern one from the other. I would be most pleased if you could be of assistance.
