    Honestly I've been there probably 5 out of the last 7 days, and never seen another person, sunrise or sunset. This morning, I was expecting a fiery show from the clouds, but instead got about 1 minute of pink and blah grey and blues. Oh well....keep trying.

    my two entries...nothing special. scanned in real quick from prints, so they may still look a little weird.

    I didn't see until later that some enterprising young bozo had written "fagets like dick" on the wall in this shot. No matter how hard I try I can't get this picture to look straight.

    Title: it's easier than going around

    ...and it's true. The creek is fed by melting snow and I froze my sack on the way through. Going around meant scrambling up a steep hillside of loose rocks covered in moss and a crapload of poison oak. There's nothing like a nice leisurely stroll in the woods.
