Be a part of the decision process. You can bet that all the other interested parties will weigh in.
From Envision Utah:
I am inviting you . . .
to either attend a meeting on the Wasatch Canyons or to complete an important survey on the canyons. Through the first two rounds of public meetings, more than five thousand Utahns have participated in the Wasatch Canyons Tomorrow process. We’re now entering the final opportunities for the public to help shape Salt Lake County’s Master Plan for the canyons. At two upcoming open houses, Utahns can evaluate a range of policies dealing with watershed, recreation, transportation and development in the canyons:
Tuesday, March 23rd
West High School (in the “commons area”)
241 North 300 West, Salt Lake City
Canyons School District Office (auditorium)
9150 South 500 West, Sandy
Wednesday, March 24th
Skyline High School (cafeteria)
3251 East 3760 South, Salt Lake City
Sandy City Hall (2nd floor multi-purpose room)
10000 Centennial Parkway, Sandy
The policies reflect more than 10,000 comments received in May and November, 2009. All open houses are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To RSVP, contact mdavies@envisionutah.org.
If you can’t attend either open house, I hope you will complete an important survey at www.wasatchcanyons.slco.org, which will be available on Thursday, March 25th.
I also hope you’ll forward this e-mail to your friends and encourage their involvement as well. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks you.
