3' @ Magic Mountain in a day TR, BOOYAH for VTAH!!!!
Most of you already know about the nukeage that unfurled at Magic on the 24th, but to those of you who have yet to witness the stoke- you might want to pop some popcorn. The best way to describe that day was to liken it to a religious experience. Deepest and hardest charging day of my life.
Enough with the talking and shit. On to the meat and potatoes. We got up early and were waiting in line far before anybody but the lifties were there, digging out like whoa. It was NUKING and we were coming out of our boots we were so amped.
First chair crew + Arewolf and Big Jay, possibly others I was too stoked to get everybody's names...
This was what the chairs looked like coming off the hill... At 8:30 am...
First run down untracked redline in 2+ feet of blower was the craziest feeling... Every turn in the fresh was a face shot... Airs off that mando rollover resulted in pow baptism. Many a woot was exclaimed. Many, many untracked woods lines were to follow...
Buttahflake barely floating on his 189 Pontoons
Bumpskier finessing the woods right out of their shoes
Arewolf floatin' and boatin'
Repeat after me: TITTYBALLS!!!!!!!!
I baptise my teats in the hills of Magic. It's true.
We interrupt this program to advise you that the snowpack at Magic is so deep, it actually has avalanche conditions. Hogwash, you say? Feast your oculars on this... Sorry about the sidewaysage, if anyone knows how to flip the video, please do so. I am a ruhtard and can't do it.
More video, you say? Fo sho! Here we have Thin Cover galloping through shit followed by Big Jay and Buttah. Shit was so crazy deep...
Big Jay rippling pow
Nuking??? Nope.
Not even a little.
More woodsy goodness
and more...
and more...
and more...
and more...
Stomping out of a landing...
likewise...
Blackline was deeeeeeeeeep!
Like really, reeeeeeeeeeeeally deep! (pic taken before noon!)
The top of Red even slid pretty big later in the afternoon!
Check out the fracture- big even after it started to fill in again!
This was taken at about 3ish I think, just before my camera was overtaken by the water inside it. Bummer.
In short, it was freakin' epic. Tittyballs blow your face off epic. Please, other people who were there- post up whatever pics you night have from this day or the following weekend- I know there's alot of good hucks and airs caught on film and I'd love to see them here as well! Hope yous enjoyed the pow and if not, I hope these pics hurt- you shoulda been there!

Epic day indeed. That was perhaps the deepest snow I've skied. Too bad I didn't hook up with your crew, but everyone was kinda scattered all day.
Sweet pics DW!

That was me and someone else. It was snowing the hardest I've ever seen it snow. That includes the past two years at Alta. It was retarded.
Big props to TC and DoWork for showing me around. I almost quit after lunch b/c my quads were cramping--thank god I didn't because each run was better than the last as the day went on.Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!

See a fracture at Stowe every once in a while, never thought I would see a fracture like that in southern VT. Sick EC stoke though.
