Good call to err on the colder side though

We try to keep it simple at the store. Also, the waxes have a pretty wide range really, so as said, err on colder. That said, we have a 40K race every year and it’s fun to layer in 3 different waxes, so as the wax wears off, the next wax that comes up is correct for the conditions that racer will be experiencing then.

Had some consistent snowfall here so I've been working in a track around some neighborhood green space so I can take my kiddo on a few laps before bedtime.



Track has gotten relatively stable and you can actually get a little glide!

Unfortunately it looks like it is going to be in the 40s and raining this weekend so that's all gonna get fucked.

Talked to an old friend who I hadn’t seen in a while who is one of the founders of our trail system. We both agreed that this season may be the best ever. It’s basically due to no big thaw.

Trapp Family Lodge was incredible today. No crowds as the holiday week ends, impeccable grooming, and a dusting of fresh snow.

Skied the Rendezvous Trails at West Yellowstone today. With bear spray in case this warm spell brings out any early-riser griz. Really nice trail system. Skiing Big Sky tomorrow on our way home.

Amazing women’s skiathlon race at the World Championship. A must watch.

Ebba is so freaking strong. If you watch Nordic skiing you see how strong she is, no one holds onto their V[emoji638] like she can. Always the last to switch to V[emoji637] going up, and she’s always the first one to switch back at the top of hill. She is my favorite skier on tour. I love Jessie and how tenacious and fierce she is, but Ebba’s technique is spot-on.
