Those are sweet looking skis! Definitely worthy of wall mounting.

Lol, I lost my spare ski tip a long time ago! Along with 3 pin boots. I do miss the s smell of pine tar though. Last decade I've been stomping around on Fisher SB 112s . To the point I needed another pair last season. They are Sooo much fun!

I kicked (and glided) off my ski season today at Ogden Nordic. Not a high energy day, but a pleasant one. And we saw moose tracks.

Coverage seems pretty damn good up there! Don't want to make that drive for my first day back on though...

Yes, officially opening on Saturday, but they had a grooming report up, and that seemed like an invitation to check it out a bit early. As you can see, it’s good & ready!

It's what keeps me going all season.

It's just odd - my first day of the season on alpine skis and I'm fine. Nordic I'm damn near out of control at the beginning.

Anyone have info on thermomolding Rossignol skate shoes? Got a pair, fit is really good with one slight pressure point. The boot has a tag on it that says thermomoldable, absolutely no info anywhere on Rossi's website, online, etc...
Yes, I could go to a shop for this, but this isn't a pebax or PU shell, I imagine I could accomplish quite a bit on my own. Few minutes with the hair dryer? Hot rice bags? Stick the boot in the oven?

I have Rossi skate boots like you describe. The shop had one of those little ovens and they put em in there for 20 or so then I put them on with a 2x4 under the balls of my feet until they cooled. They have since packed out and are fine. I'll bet any of the 3 ways you mention will work.

You can use a hairdryer directed at the spot that you need the most molding done for about 10 or 15 minutes, then put your foot in there with your thinnest sock, lace them up and them hang out for 10 or 15 minutes. If it’s a bad pressure spot, you can do the usual Alpine boot thing where you tape a pad on that spot to push out the foam a bit.
