    boot fitter in Summit Co.

Gonna be in Vail last week of Feb. it looks like. Can anyone rec a good boot fitter ? I love my boots, most comfortable, best performing I've ever had, but I'm feeling the liners getting a little packed out. I'd like to look at some inserts/orthotics to stave off buying a new pair of boots right now.

Tyler @ Surefoot in Keystone did a great job for me. Its been almost 4 years since I have been back. Not sure if he is still there and I cant comment on the other guys there.

Surefoot at KS is OK, but $$$$. They can get pretty close on the first visit, though, skilled tech or not.

Bumping this thread. Time to get some good boots. I like to spend my money in the county if possible.

Is Colorado Freeride still around? Any seconds on Breck Ski Boot? Any others for Boot Fixation? Any other local shops to SuCO?

    Thanks

Surprised no one has mentioned Ski Boot Fitting (skibootfitting.com) in Vail. Greg and staff are some of the best bootfitters in the nation. From 10-2 (or 10-4?) their bootfitters occupy the little hut at the top of Chair 4, so you can do on-mountain adjustments.

Didn't look at the date till now, but the OP was asking about Vail, despite the loony subject line.
