    Coffee and Peanut Butter?

    Look I know this isn't quite as interesting as a thread about banging a slutty mormon girl but I need the collective's opinion.

    Do the flavors of coffee and peanut butter go together?

    I've been batting this around with the Ms. for a few days now. Her opinion is that just because peanut butter and coffee work great with a common item (Chocolate) doesn't mean they go well together.
    While I agree, I can't shake the idea that in the right combo they would be fantastic. My best suggestion to day has been coffee ice cream with fudge swirls and peanut butter pieces - or something like that. I mean how good would that be?

    Thoughts?

    i like them both in the morning

    as for ice cream--ben and jerrys coffee heath bar is kind of close to what you describe and an all time personal favorite

    Agreed but it lacks that real nutty peanut flavor that seems to be the sticking point.

    Coffee helps melt the peanut butter outta your mouth.

    My daily ritual b-fast is two eggo's with peanut butter in between them and a big cup of joe.

    Whole grain bread & PB with multiple cups of coffee just about every day.

    Maybe I'm just used to it but I think it tastes ok.

    and I think coffee and peanut butter are tastes that go well together FWIW.

    just give her some coffee ice cream with crushed up PB cups, like you said earlier
