What's a good plastic to use for make binding shims? Mine will need to be resistant to loctite since I have inserts in my skis. I think nylon?
Also I am open to other ideas... here's the situation [PULLS UP SHIRT TO SHOW ABS]:
I use Tecnica Agent 130s + Dukes for a resort boot and Dalbello Viruses + Dynafits for BC. The Viruses seem to have much less forward lean and I'm having to work really hard to get into my normal stance. So I was thinking about putting a shim under the back half of my dynafits to increase ramp angle.
I skied the Viruses + Dukes inbounds yesterday and the combo was really really making me fight to get forward. I had less of an issue with the Viruses + Dynafits but it was still noticeable.
The Dynafits put the heel 0.17" higher than the Dukes. So I was thinking about an additional 1/4" shim for starters.
Any thoughts?
