I know the smalls go to a 265, but I am worried that they won't have sufficient forward pressure. Anyone gone this small with Dukes or Barons? The last thing I need to to mount these for my wife and find out that she has issues with them.

You can try placing the boot in the binding and adjust the forward pressure to make sure the screw will go flush before they are mounted.
If you french fry when you pizza you're going to have a bad time.
