so is the bibby the same except for the addition of carbon stringers? presumably this is to lighten it up or did the flex change?

    Garbones? gone?

please tell me that the Belafonte is not a noodle....

Belafonte = slightly softer than Garbones. 666 has his mounted up, so I'm sure he'll fill people in later.

Ruby = all sizes have uniform flex = old 180 flex

Skis with carbon in it should be about a pound later than otherwise.

Actual pics to come later tonight.

Belafonte = New M1, New Garbones, burly but not as ridiculous burly as the original M1. Tip rocker, traditional camber, 135-106-124, stiff tails, not a massive twin on the tail, and will be sold in a 174, 182, and 192.

I've got a pair of 192's mounted with 916s on the line. Zippy has been skiing this week on a pair of the 182's and they get his approval. I'm hoping to get on mine this weekend.

Most skis are now adding another shorter length in the 174cm range. As far as I know, the Bibby dimensions have remained the same but my current pair has less sidecut and a tapered tail, which I don't like as much as the current model, so I'm glad the original dimensions are staying the same. Also, all Bibby's will be produced the same. No difference between the 190 and other sizes as far as camber, etc.

Wider, more sidecut, and not as stiff overall.

    That sounds awesome.
Do you think there is going to be a demo for it in the Seattle or Crystal Mountain area?

Not sure on the demos. You'd have to PM Melee for that question.

Glad I have this year's Garbones, psyched to get next years bibbys, and to get the 174 for my girlfriend. Bet the 182 Belafonte will be a kick-ass everyday ski.

Loving the new Moment lineup - although Bibby graphics not as good this year. Any change in the tech?

Anybody give me a heads up on when Armadas 10/11 lineup is coming?

So far SIA as been cool. Dyanastar is going to disappoint a lot of you the legend 115=noodle if you thought the legend pro was soft when they changed it this is softer. Moment stuff looks great. Atomic line is the same access should be a fun ski 100mm underfoot rockered tip with a twin, should be a versitle ski medium soft flex. Ninethwards new rockered ski looks good I would say S7 flex. Looks similar to the Elan boomerang. Faction 13 looks like the big charger ski stiff flex and felt on the heaver side. Coreupt skis look interesting a Grulien is a funkey looking ski. PX15 and 18 gone from the freeride collection pivots replaced them. I will post more thoughts when I get back to SLC and hopefuly have some pics
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

I suspect they haven't seen this thread yet, otherwise they definitely would be posting here.
