    Ski sizing when buying

Ok guys Im sure you have had this one already but I'm new here. I'm buying a pair of Nordica Enforcers not sure how big to go. Im 5'10" 177lbs. This is my second season skiing.I skiied 110 days last year @ Steamboat.I'm Living in Big Sky Montana this year "major terrian change" Everyone I have talked too says Im crazy to get anything less than 180's. That could be the case just not sure never been on a ski that big. Last year I skiied Rossignal Phantom 175. Havent really skiied alot of powder skis ether "less than 10 times" but Im getting a great deal on these skis and cant turn it down. I was able to ski any part of the mountain in steamboat and be completly goog to go. That does not mean that I was hucking off 30 footers in fishcreek canyon but I can ski it. Anyways the question is should I go with 177 or 185 the side cut is 135-98-125 @ 185. Any help would be great thanks

short answer, at your size, you should go with the 185. you could also search, ski sizing has been discussed around a few times before

It's not the length, it's the width retart.

Thankfully I've been blessed with both.

185 for sure. You and I are the same size weight, and I'm sure the smaller skiis would chatter like hell in the steps when you put the presure on. Plus I've always felt a little too long is better that a little too short, espcially in the steeps. Have fun in big sky!!!

185; but is that really the ski that you want? You should search around here for some reviews and maybe consider a couple different pairs of sticks.

someone who is new could be advised to lurk a bit and figure out the protocol before posting anything

If you had you would already know that what you want is the longest & widest of any ski out there ,then you do a post complaining they arent long and wide enough

cuz this is TGR and as my former wife used to say " its all about who has the biggest dick with you boys isnt it?"

I liked the bit about "managing an important facebook account"...
"I'm looking pretty good, don't you think?" - the other says "watching you ski is like watching a retarded monkey rollerblade on a gravel road"
