Love mine! Ear flap with subtle FKNA! Can you make a tookie for a very big head (slightly deeper dish)?

Not certain if mine is merino or not but it is some type of softer wool and I definitely don't need any kind of liner. As I said in my previous post it feels like cashmere and is super comfortable. I wear the brim forward on sunny days and backward when I need the EG-2s on snowy days ( not that we've had a ton of those yet this year). Again- bump for John and his awesome hats.

i should update the thread, i know i did in the middle, but deffenately not on the original post. i switched from the merino wool to a roving wool. its alot easier to work with and comes with more colors, is a bit cheaper and frankly performs just as well.

Just want to attest to how easy it is to deal with smuggs. I was buying a present for a finicky friend, and when the hat didn't do exactly what they wanted, smuggs gave me a refund, no problem! Great guy

    Bump!....
Someone shoulda warned him that no matter how brutal winter or summer can be, a bad post on TGR can be almost impossible to weather once the shitstorm breaks loose.

    Or worse, the "Shitnado"!

    No, a shiticane.

Checking in to say that I fukkin love my touring toque. Can't count the number of times it has saved my ears. Bought a friend one of smuggs' hats for Christmas a few years ago, and she loves it enough that she bought more as Christmas presents for her family.

You still able to do kids hats Smuggs? Got a 5 and 3 yo that need some headwear for the winter.

Figured I'd give this thread a bump for the first VT snowfall. I bought a hat last year (the grey w/ blue stripes a few posts up) and it kept me warm all winter long.

Here is the hat keeping me warm, somewhere in the notch.

I still need to get one also...
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
