Gonna place an order here shortly, need to decide my colors. Hats that have been posted look sick thus far.

There's some cabbage in it for you to figure out the skull/crossbones epicness. Looking forward to my rasta-motif brimmer. My current work hat is entropic at best. Jah speed my good man.

some hats i shipped monday. unfortunately they didnt get tagged. i figured getting them shipped was more important than waiting until today to put my claim on them.

thanks for those photos lee. hopefully they all fit well

vtbc you should see yours in this photo.

skull cap should go down in the next few days.

and some of the tuques people request certain things but sometimes when i read the order form, which also is the address lable of the hat i read magenta tuque with one purple stripe, one black etc, sometimes i mix them or just do it my way with requested colors. its not because i hate you its just i get rollin and forget to do whatever.

i think on this last batch i mixed up an order and made one with earflaps that was suposed to be brim and the earflap i brimmed (same order) just little things i want to point out that hopefully now or in the future dont cause problems. your tuque(s) will look fantastic either way.

smuggs - for the skulls i got my mom a knitting book for Christmas last year that had a pattern/info on how to make skulls. 'Stitch and bitch's son' is what I think the name of the book was called (or something like that....), you may want to see if you can find it online rather than trying to recreate the wheel on the skulls.

Just got my hat from the postman. Suffice it to say the hat is super-dope! It exceeds my highest expectations. This thing is the nicest friggin' hat i've ever owned. Thank you Smuggs, and i'm glad you raised your prices. You were clearly not charging enough for the level of quality and care that you have been putting in to each hat. Bravo!

Smuggs, for people who are sensitive to wool, is the merino you're using completely non-itchy or would acrylic be the way to go?

VT BC glad you love the tuque! i hadnt made a classy rasta roots hat for a few years im glad you asked for one. the prices are what they are. i might be able to get the hats sold for a bit more, but keep em affordable for this community. when i get the time to branch out (probably next summer) ill charge more to strangers. keep a mag discount for sure.

as far as people being sensitive to wool, i assume the merino being 100% wool would itch the head. i have nothing to guide off of but i would say the acrylic blend would be the best option. i wish i had a concrete answer for ya. i can also pick out some 100% acrylic somewhere too, i think i even saw some bamboo yarn at some point too. i think you would do fine with the blend though.

seems like production times are all on, though i didnt make any hats today and was hoping to do 3. take care!

set a record today, made 10 hats! my previous record was 7. this is what ships tomorrow (maybe because there is a big storm upon us) i almost made everyones who ordered up to date. but those not in here will go out as planned next monday 12/13. thanks!

haha i almost threw in the towel today of hurting hands, then i remembered this from happy gilmore and continued work

Nursing Home Orderly: Good news, everybody, we're extending arts and crafts time by four hours today.
    Elderly Woman: My fingers hurt.
    Nursing Home Orderly: What's that?
    Elderly Woman: My fingers hurt.
Nursing Home Orderly: Oh, well, now your back's gonna hurt, 'cause you just pulled landscaping duty. Anybody else's fingers hurt?... I didn't think so.

ed that skull tuque is meaaaan man! nice!

i can only take a HANDFULL more orders from anyone whom expects to recieve a tuque by xmas/new years. holidays are SUPER busy around these parts and i dont expect to get much done with these tuques after next week until the NEW YEAR. though things change. right now some people wait a week, some a little over a week i think. (i also have to send the family a few tuques)

    thanks all!
