UNLOCKING HELP NEEDED

I am using the Sony Ericssion Xperia X1 it locked to the Vodafone Network Australia.I found the unlocking instructions ,code in the site http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/unloc...-phone/rs2wp2/ i want the suggestion which is best unlocking code is best to unlock the Sony Ericssion Xperia X1 or Unlocking software is best? Help In the taking decision.

sounds like you have a HAL problem

first thing to take out the Windows lock

find C:/windows/system32/hal.dll

hal stands for hardware auto locker, and dll stands for driver

go ahead and delete the hal.dll file and reboot your computer with the phone connected via firewire or USB

after your computer finishes booting, you should get a window that will allow you to select 'Unlock Phone'

go ahead and unlock your phone now by selecting 'unlock' and confirming - your phone should now be unlocked
