Annual measure the kids and realize that nothing fits right anymore swap time. Pics to follow later as I'm at work slacking off right now.

WTT: 128 Mantra Jr NIP, never touched looking for Mantra Jr 138 or similar upper.130s to low 140s type ski for a 10 year old.

Used Defiance Jr blue and white 90cm skis (made by elan) with defiance (Tyrolia ) kid bindings , great setup from Level 9. Looking for something similar in a 100-104 ish.

Have a Rossi 110 waiting in the wings for her but think it may be a bit long at least for the beginning of the season.

WTS: Roces Idea up small blue adjustable boot 16.5-18. functions great has scratches . No idea on pricing ,say $25 + shipping.

I have found the raise tails are a pain for the smaller kids. When they are learning to skate with skis the tails will constantly get hung up on each other and frustrate the kid. Looks sweet, but tough function until they have a solid base

Good point.

I was also thinking with young kid anatomy favoring back seat skiing that the rocker tail would lack support.? ?

Curious as to these head monster easy skis (although unlikely I would spend 250$ on 4 yo skis):

Our 7yr old has always been on full camber skis…though I just picked up a pair of Volkl Revolt Jrs for him with slight tip and tail rocker. I didn’t want to go full rocker as he’s not “that good” of a skier yet (not the best edge control) and we’re normally on pretty firm stuff. So we’ll see…

I just swung by our local hill, and there is a good amount of stuff left over from their ski swap the other weekend. Lots of pretty small boots (18.0-20.0), some in the 23-25 range, and a few pairs each of kids skis in the 100-150cm range. They were rental skis (in surprisingly good shape) from another mountain that donated them to the ski swap, so track bindings. Boots and skis probably going for $20 or so per pair, all $ going right to the mountain’s operations budget. Happy to look for specific items if you have a need, can probably box something up and ship on your dime.

K2 Shreditor 85 - 138cm with demo 7-din bindings. These are wood core skis with tip and tail rocker, camber underfoot. K2 mindBender Jr team, 24/24.5, 284 mm boot sole. Still a ton of life and in these. Great for a young ripper, particularly if you have a desire for your little person to tour. Solid walk mode, tech fittings. I've got two boys skiing in these boots as their go to ever day... Just keep sizing up, now on third pair.

For reference, these are too small for an eighth grader with ~7.5 to 8 foot.
