Ski-wpk maybe this could work out for both of us. My daughter just turned 6, she's probably 45 or 46 inches tall, about 50 lbs I think , so a little big for her age. Was on a 90 cm ski last year. Do you think the 100 cm elan would be big enough for her or is that borderline small? If that would work than maybe you could take Carlh 104 cm Rossi instead of me ? Thoughts?

Don’t know what method others use but for kids I go with floor to chin as ski length. My daughter is a small 7 and will use the Elans one last time this weekend before jumping to 110s.

Not sure if those are still available. They were the skis I posted about earlier in the thread to see if anyone could help facilitate shipping. I ended up having to pass at the time due to car issues, but might be back in if they are still available and anyone is able to help with pickup.

Kinda depends on the kid but obviously a longer ski can make turning a bit more difficult. If it matters I usually shot for a lenght between the mouth/nose so that probably resolves your slightly longer concern.

I love that when I was a kid in the 80s the measurement was floor to wrist when raising your hand above your head!

K2 Shreditor 85 - 138cm with demo 7-din bindings. These are wood core skis with tip and tail rocker, camber underfoot.
