I never said it was a bad thing. Two things though:

1. The blacktop appears to indicate it happening in a public place
2. No pictures of the shirt were taken

Max- you should give the skis to me. Easy come, easy go. You don't need them. There's no powder in Louisiana. (Powdered sugar doesn't count.) (Powdered cocaine doesn't count.) It snows where I live. (Frozen water not cocaine.) I will ski the skis. I'll even pay shipping charges. And I won't tell anyone at Powder Magazine that you gave the skis to me. It'll all be OK in the end. Just hand them over. Gently now - don't scratch them. That's it. Good.

Also, I'll contribute to the 201cm Stockli's you need. I'll get you a whole lot of skis. Some Olin, Pre, RD, Blizzards... you name it, you got it. I'll even get you some Geze bindings (those are rare now) to go with your new skis.

C'mon... ship me the skis. You know you'll feel better about it if you do. Don't sell them. Don't give them to anyone else. Just hand them over.

I did that once.

Summer of 91, the day after the El Dorado 50 miler in the Sierras (Cody Meadows, a few miles south of Hwy 50, near Strawberry). I wanted to do a quick run before driving back to Los Angeles and took only a couple bottles of water with me. I didn't think to bring TP since I had already taken a dump earlier that morning. I guess I must have eaten a lot after the race because, maybe, 30 minutes into the run, I had to unload bigtime. No way I was going to hold this one in, especially as I knew I had about another hour to run. At least I was wearing a tee shirt. Normally on such a sunny day, I would have gone without.

You're gonna love the skis, Max. I skied some 175 PRs for 2 years. Now, they're absolutely trashed... but they lasted me a winter and a summer of abuse, and then they were fucked. And then I skied them another winter, and another summer, and now they're dangerous. But the point is, I had a great time on them. Sort of. Hey, maybe they made them better now...

Seriously though... I landed a lot of 'firsts' on those skis, and they took me to the next level. They are a really forgiving ski. You'll like them. Just remember: keep your feet apart. It's tempting to keep your feet together and swivel at the hips, but don't do it. It looks stupid.
