    Just mounted a pair on some Coombacks. I was nervous so I test mounted to a 2x4 first. Turned out I didn't really need to do this because the included template is spot-on. Jondrum's kit is super user-friendly and all I needed was basic shop tools. Thanks man.

    Anyone mounted (or considered mounting) these on megawatts or other Black Diamond skis??? Just wondering how the plate mount holes are impacted by the ridges that are on the BD "efficient power" series of skis. Hopefully no impact at all, but just checking. Cheers!

    i have mounted plates on megawatts before and it is fine...

    Finally got around to doing some swinging - er...I mean swapping - of bindings on my plates. Man, great work Jon. This is a really nice little product.

    bumping for an update for 2/8/10:
    I have 6 kits left, and will be doing another run as orders come in. I will probably wait until I have decent interest to do the next run - I don't want to sit on a bunch of inventory over the summer.

    What about mounting these plates on megawatts that are already drilled twice? I already have put Rossi 140 axial2, then Dukes on them. Now I am getting new skis and want to have Dukes on them too. Instead of buying a second pair of Dukes, I was hoping I could get two sets of plates. For my new skis there is no issue.
    My thinking is that these plates will be better for the life of my megawatts than just mounting another binding on them... but it's still a third mount...
    Do I suck it up and buy another set of Dukes for my new skis, or do I risk it and mount plates on my megawatts?

    i would think that the plates would have less interference than a standard mount pattern. iwould go for the plates...

    mounted on my Protests and Thugs. Made one switch from Thugs to Protests in about 15 minutes (a friend helped too) at the lift station. no probs!

    Anybody got a set or two they are sitting on that they don't need at the moment? Planning on putting these on a few pairs of skis, just got new boots with a bigger bsl and don't want to have to redrill everything 2X. I will happily throw in extra $ for the trouble, and send you new ones when Jon gets more in.
