Sorry Jondrums, I had to let my Dukes go to a friend so I have no use for the plate right now.

I finally got the new photo and videos posted on the first page. Bump for people to check them out - I show how to mount the dukes and dynafit bindings onto the plates.

I also made a video of myself mounting the plates onto skis, but that one is 13 minutes long, and youtube only allows 10 minutes. I'm trying to figure out how to edit it down under 10, so I can get it in one vid. My imovie isn't letting me make parts of it fast motion... anyone have an imovie '08/09 install they aren't using?

same as any binding mount: 3.6mm x 9mm standard, or 4.1mm x 9mm if your ski has a metal layer. I need to get that mounting tutorial vid up!

    Very cool vids.

I'll be buying some bits and whatnot in the next few weeks and getting things ready to go.

Count me in for one. I already have Dukes mounted to one pair, so I won't need the plate for that ski, but for the other pair that I could tour with. This is going to change everything. Thanks again for making this product!

I can wait for the later date, as we have exactly zero inches of snow in our forecast.
Low post count because I'm too busy working and then skiing, but not neccessarily in that order.

Call me a JONG, but how do you mount the plates on the skis in the first place to make sure both sets of binders are mounted properly?

That's the video I haven't yet edited down to 10 minutes for youtube. basically you use a template and mount based on your BSL, just like any other binding.

Those plates are looking sweet!! Pretty awesome when you get to see a plan come to fruition. Check sent and snow is holding up high. We'll put em to use ASAP and get some pics in action.

The best part of the video is seeing that one of the gods of tech talk drops screws and Allen wrenches almost as frequently as I do.

Personally, I think he staged it to give the rest of us confidence for the process, because I've heard that wrenches and screws levitate when they are in his presence.

The whole setup looks professionally done/vids/tools/locktite/plates etc.
    Job well done.
Should be a hell of alot easier to cary multiple skis when traveling now without clamps on them.

i'm thinking of getting 2 pairs to swap dukes between two skis. possible dumb question time: the skis are 130mm waist and 120mm waist respectively. will the 130 brakes work properly on the 120 waist skis?

p.s. nice job on the video! and the orange ano will look dope with the new duke color scheme!

    !
NO they wont. They will be to large and the binding will not function properly. DIN release setting will be void and you cant trust them if you use large brakes on smaller skis.

just kidding itll work just fine.

Why not just upload the video into two parts? Part 1 could be prepping/layout (ie marking centerline, marking holes, ect) and the second part could be drilling and then actual install. I'd much rather watch 20 minutes with detail then a 10 minute condensed version that is rushed/might leave out obvious steps (i always screw up the obvious steps >.<)

    +1

I'd be happy to watch a couple of longer vids. Saves you time editing and we get more mellow background tunes and real-time action.
