    Quiver is fucking awesome ?
I never skied the MPro 108s. They seem more like soft snow skis at 110mm underfoot in the 192. They are quite a bit softer and noticeably lighter (2390g/ski) than Katana 108s and Sender Squads (2480g/ski), nvm Pro Riders (2630g/ski). I’d like to sell them because I prefer my directional 108-110s to be more hard snow specific than I’m assuming MPro 108s will be. If my finances were better I’d already have mounted them up and tried them.

R105 vs Pro Rider: Pro Riders are much more locked in, and have a more powerful feeling through the tips and tails. They come alive at higher speeds and have a higher speed limit. They prefer open terrain, the more 2D the snow the better they are. R105s can be skied almost as fast in smooth, open terrain, and are similarly predictable, even with full rocker (I’d like to try FL105s next). R105s are very good in tight spots and moguls of all sizes and different snow conditions..while the Pro Riders suck in trees, moguls too big to run over, and tighter chutes, etc. Both their turn radii feel similar on edge, but the R105s can be manipulated into almost any turn shape you want pretty effortlessly, and they can do some snappy short turns if you work them.

R105s are better in refrozen off piste junk, and firm-ish 3D conditions, and seem much better for deeper snow of all varieties. R105s don’t lose much grip underfoot compared to Pro Riders either, which was surprising. I won’t ever sell the Pro Riders, they have such a unique and powerful feel, but I’ll definitely be using R105s a lot more.

I ski Pivots exclusively and could not ski STH2s for the life of me due the the change in delta (and potentially ski flex). I remounted a pair of ON3P Wood116s freom Pivots to STH2s and the ski went from easy as can be to damned unskiable (for me).

Nice quivers both forum and kim!

Thoughts on FR120 vs Jeffs would be interesting too
STH2 probably my worst favorite binding in the lineup, besides the demo binders. I much prefer Jesters, which I know get some hatred. I loved the original STH. All that being said, I still think the STH2 are fine when working properly. If I find a super deal on them I don’t hesitate. I’ve just had 2 pairs in the past that got sloppy quick, but I’ve also had a few pairs that work great.

They work fine on the Moments, and that’s an older set. I don’t notice the difference in ramp angle from when I had Wildcat 118s with Jesters, but I probably wouldn’t put STH2s on a ski that’s any closer than -5cm from center. I definitely prefer Pivots, and need more. I look forward to trying the Strive 16 though.

Thanks dudes! Ask me any questions you want.

Someone ended up buying them the day after the post! Sounds like it’s replacement is inbound.

Skied all of them a good amount, except MPro 108s and only skied those 196 Bodacious once. Gonna try for 75 days this season, while starting my masters in engineering and having been in Florida for a month Dec-Jan

    The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread

This thread is sucking without the ability to post pics and the unwanted evil emoji gremlins. As always my quiver changes rapidly...this year was no exception.

    Slack and Back quiver:

    Hoji with CAST

    Ravens with Duke PT

    HL BC 110 with ATK

    HL UT 122 with ATKs

BC boots are the Tecnica Zero G One 130 with Zipfit GFT

    Inbounds quiver:

Heritage Labs HB 122 with Strive 16

Volkl Revolt 121 with Pivot 15

    Heritage Labs R 120 with STH 16

Line Bacon 115 with Pivot 15

Heritage Lab FR 110 with STH 16

Line Bacon 108 with Pivot 15

Volkl Revolt 104 with Pivot 15

Season Eqpt Aero 96 with STH 16

Boots are Nordica Strider 120 and Nordica Strider 130 with Zipfit Workhorse Liners.

All the above inbound skis are mounted at approx. minus three point five to minus four mounts except for the FR (minus five point eight) and the R One Twenty (minus six point seven). Really enjoying the new Line Bacons at minus four. May have to pick up the Bacon One Twenty Two this summer.

Tapatalk app works. It sucks due to ads but you can just use it to upload photos. Don’t have to use it otherwise.

Damn. How are those fresh ATK hy? And how would you compare their performance to your Evo, or to a downhill binding..

Evo 15 is perfect binding for freetour to climb 1000-1500 meter +, HY is a dual mode perfect for freeride in resort and short climb with Freeride Skiboots or alpine Skiboots with custom tech insert, like my Rossignol Hero 130.
