Ok my bad,the older white P14s feel WAY lighter and when you are walking out of Granite 4/5/6 times a day it makes a difference.

Today, I want to share some exciting news and reflections on the progress of the great enginerd quiver restructuring of 2023/24.

First and foremost, I want to express my appreciation for each and every ski that has passed through my storage unit in the past 4 months. Restructuring is never easy, and I deeply appreciate the turns we’ve made together and the valuable feedback I’ve gotten throughout this time of change.

Today the restructuring is complete. Along the way, we had to make some difficult decisions, including reductions of some legendary old damp boards as well as some incredibly versatile no-new-snow skis and even some admittedly, very recent additions. While this was a challenging time for all, I firmly believe that these changes were necessary to position the enginerd quiver for long term enjoyment.

The restructuring has allowed us to reduce overlap, increase efficiency, modernize where appropriate and retain our biggest strengths. I am confident that we now have the right structure in place to take on the biggest spring ski alpinism objectives, enjoy daily winter backcountry outings, charge the chalkiest firm days, rage the heaviest 3D snow big mountain days, billygoat effortlessly through those mid winter refreshes, surf the deepest of pow days and ultimately maximize fun through any condition in the coming winters.

To those boards who have moved on, I want to extend my sincerest best wishes for your future shralping. Your contributions to my understanding of each shape and flex pattern have been invaluable, and I have no doubt that your beautiful topsheets and many positive reviews will lead you to great adventures ahead. Please know that you will always be part of the enginerd quiver optimization journey, and I am grateful for the time we've had together.

For those who remain, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We have clear purpose and an expansive spread of best-in-class capabilities. This has already fueled a renewed sense of confidence and I’m certain we have laid the foundation for slaying the most epic descents in the greatest ranges. By doing our drills, continuing to push our comfort zone, maintaining somewhat regular tuning and embracing whatever mother nature throws at us, I am confident that we will overcome the most difficult of tweener-day decisions and achieve new heights of elation and crushery.

Thank you once again for your floatation on the deepest days, quick pivots on the heavy days, hard charging on the glory days and precision on the firm days. Let's ski on with smoothness, dampness, the occasional pop, a bit of playfulness and a shared determination to shred.

    Current Quiver L to R:

I ski everything with Nordica Strider 120’s, with leather Workhorse Zipfit liners.

170cm Head SuperShape e-Titan w/ Protector 13… for icy and groomer days, bought these in January when we had no snow. I’m shocked how fun these are to ski, at -11cm. The SuperShape e-Titan’s are so stable when it’s variable. Their 83cm waist means you can still take them anywhere.

180cm Season Eqpt Aero w/ STH 16… really fun 96mm ski with metal for low-tide days, the -3cm mount is great for quickness and maneuverability on chalky steeps. Easy to throw sideways even with minimal rocker.

184cm 4FRNT Raven w/ Duke PT 16… at -5.8cm, this is my 104mm DD that can do anything when I want an effortless day.

178cm Line Blade Optic 104 w/ Pivot 15… good replacement for my Enforcer 104, it’s a nice mix of damp yet easy. Mounted on line at -6.8cm…handles all conditions from ice to pow at Whistler.

180cm Heritage Labs FR 110 w/ STH 16… -5.8cm mount, heavy and full rocker. Holy f@ck these are awesome. I now have 7 days on mine and are definitely my favourite ski in my quiver. Slarvy goodness.

    184cm 4FRNT Pilsner Hoji w/ Pivot 15 + CAST @ -6.5cm... ‘nuff said!

178cm Line Blade Optic 114 w/ STH 16… great inbounds Whistler pow ski, where you can ski pow and ice on he same run, mounted on rec at -7cm. Heavy, damp, and kinda burly yet still maneuverable. Great in cut up chop.

182cm Black Crows Anima w/ Pivot 15… got these last season for a steal and have only a few days on these so far. my first Black Crows ski. Anima is a good mix of playful and also stable, I like its fat tips and the -6cm mount works for me. Overlaps somewhat with the 114 Optic.

184cm 4FRNT Renegade w/ Duke PT 16… -5.7cm mount, my 4th Renegade, love this ski in steep Whitewater trees and untracked pow.

Pretty happy with all the skis above……could see selling the Optic 114 and getting a Heritage Lab R 120. The new 181 BC Corvus is on my radar too.

The top sheet on those Protest ULs reminds me of the pair I took to Japan. Should never have sold those.

    Nice quiver man

    What length are they?

They float and drive super easy. I just had too many fat skis and probably should have kept those instead of what I did keep. Lesson learned. When you get on them, they are great!

I was asked in the TechTalk thread I started on "Solly toe screw failure" to post a few pics of my monoski quiver...

This was a short video I made a few years ago showcasing all the White Knuckle Monoskis that I had in the garage...I'll have to get a current group photo of all my monoskis all lined up. I've since moved from Washington to North Idaho so half my skis are in storage...but the house I'm building will have a 1,200 sqft garage with a detached 1,600sqft shop so plenty of room to line em all up!

Holy hell that binding arsenal… I spy a couple pairs of red fade 997e lurking in the garage vid, my ski swap white whale. Thanks for sharing WK, cool as hell.

Sweet quiver. Digging the XR9's - the first brand new boots i ever bought, circa 1995 or thereabouts - man, were they ever cool.

Very curious about the two sizes of Bodacious - do you find ample usage for both?
