    Mounting Mojo 90

Picked up a pair of 193 Mojo 90's from VTsession. Trying to figure out where to mount them for "all mountain" use. Not worried about skiing switch. Thinking 1cm back.

Anyone have any experience with these skis?

(thanks for the tips in my previously misplaced thread)

    Thanks.

Lots on this if you search. Standard mounting point is way forward. I've got a pair of 186s at +3 from the line which ski infinitely better than +1 that they were mounted previously. They still don't really float at +3 either but they are not a pow ski. I imagine you'd be looking at +4ish on the 193s.

Have owned two, a 186 and a 179, factory line on both actually ahead of my BOF point, so useless unless you want it just for park and switch. I ended up 2 behind factory, works well as all around, would go another 1 or 2 back if I wanted it for mostly soft snow.

Confused. When you say "+3", do you mean 3cm rearward from the line? We usually say "-3" to indicate that.

I have them in a 186. No switch, no jibbing for me. As noted in other posts they don't float well so the mount point won't help for that. I mounted mine -2 and for my intended use, all mountain in firmer conditions, that works perfectly.

    Yes that should read -3

    That makes more sense.

Thanks for the suggestions. -2 sounds like a good place to start.

I'd agree with the -2. I have 176s and they feel pretty forward, but not overly so. I moved mine back 1cm last season and it made them $$$. Just don't be looking for float- they help with thin cover and sluch, but float they do not.
