I did it up at Solitude when I was a senior in HS. It was fun. I went haulin ass all over starting and stopping randomly staring at things like tree bark, or the other side of the canyon, it was good times indeed.

Skiing on mushrooms was fun. I could not crash. You only feel the trip while on the chair thenm as soon as you start skiing... WHOOOOSH!

My buddies skiied on acid another day and they wanted to FLY! So they kept hucking 50 footer on to refrozen ice and ragging through the trees and loved every minute.

The first story I ever submitted to Powder was about eight drunks skiing off the backside of a mountain at 4 o'clock while tripping their brains out.

Back when I used to dose, I found skiing to be a perfect match with LSD. The physical activity of skiing, was the perfect counterbalance to the mentally polarizing aspect of the acid.

One time I did barrel acid with my house dance date at Mt. Bachelor. It was a good trip, except for when we happened to bump into my parents in the Pine Marten lift line, which was an uncomfortable surprise, but that didn't last long, fortunately they didn't get on the chair with us.

If you feel the need to talk about it, then you probably will never "get it."

Skiing on any chemical is a blast......the after effects may not be.

Haven't done it in years, but it's a blast. You can absolutely shred from bell to bell without getting tired. At least I always felt REALLY strong on the skis while visiting cartoonland!!

I lost all motivation to ski, went deep into the trees, took off my gear and laid in the snow and stared at snowflakes. Pretty much a waste of a potentially good day on the mountain.

    dosage matters
in low doses, LSD or mushroom is an excellent tool for establishing and/or enhancing muscle memory, as in performance enhancing drug. In higher doses it's a performance neglecting drug, you might as well go hug a tree for a few hours.
If you take a mild dose & don,t think your high try this test; stand still, close your eyes & take 10 deep breaths. good luck
That game on acid could result in hospitalization

prohibition is the opposite of liberty

I think Matt Groening may have summed it up pretty well. Dropping a tab while skiing is like driving a snowmobile on a beautiful, sunny, bluebird day, on a frozen lake with freshly fallen, un blemished snow.

You're driving blissfully along when all of a sudden the snowmobile flips and traps you beneath it. You lay there trapped all day with no food or water................. at night the ice weasels come !

    I think it's "Dock."

Ate a bunch of mushrooms on a beautiful spring day at W/B a few years back- epic times at the Roundhouse pizza counter.

Actually, it wasn't anything like that.

When I was living in JH, my roommates and I would save a few hits each season for the really big days. We would each eat about 1/2 a hit just to get the energy and would ski bell to bell. We never took enough to 'lose it completely' but it was a fun way to spend a day.....oh to be 20 and young again.
