Having not really paid too much attention to it before, this thread had me wondering about a detail of rockered ski design.

On skis like the Bibby, Lhasa, Lotus 120, etc. does the early rise tip / rocker start at the widest part of the shovel when it is not weighted? I.e. is the widest part of the ski in contact with the snow or is that part already off the snow a little by then?
Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season

If the snow is hard packed, the nose shovel is off the snow, making for a pretty short running length. Soft snow, your all in buddy.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

first is a rocker comparison between Praxis Powders and some 4frnt EHPs (the podwers are the ones with the REAL rocker)

Ha nope. Was reading praxis pow reviews and those pics were in the review. Thought the full-length side profile was worth posting.

Salomon Rocker photo as per request. The rocker starts 720mm back from the tip, and seperation of the tips is about 180mm.

yeah good pics but you can't really tell how each skis individual rocker differs with them pressed together. It would be best to shoot them lying on a flat surface or against the wall.

anybody got a shot of the kuros? also how come no ski companies have profile pics of their skis?
Perhaps you'd be more comfortable on epicski or Paula's Ski Lovers, AltaNancy.

tip rocker on the 120 as well as a pic of both the kuro and 120. the 120 also has the smallest of tail rockers (i really wouldn't even call it rocker). i also have the 186 ehp but those have already been posted.

K2 tells the rocker height and length for all their rockered skis. For example Sidestash has 5/15 rocker design (height 5mm, lenght 15cm). All manufacturers should do that.
    140.5-117-129.5 seems perfect..
