Summer Bump. A reminder that we're only a couple of months away. Plan accordingly.

I'd be into going and would provide some enchiladas for a carpool (Danno, Rontele?).

My reading comprehension = fail. I'm going to try to move around a few things to pull this weekend off.

If I can, there will be 3 spots for Front Rangers (with preference going to those with enchiladas).

I will be down there but whether I'll be charging the enchilada or suffering in the 24 has yet to be determined!

That may be the weekend of Regionals. If not, definitely maybe.

i've done the 24 hour race 4 or 5 times and each time I get done I regret choosing to race 'behind the rocks' time and time again while all my friends get to go out and ride all the extra fun moab trails while we bore ourselves with another trip around the course.
you have just started racing though so maybe the 24 hours is a good goal for you? but if you are on the fence at all my 2 cents is to go with the enchilada......that's what we're doing this year.

It may be a little early, but at some point I'd like to get a head count so that I can arrange the shuttle. Also, we need to think about the camping arrangements. You can't reserve camp sites in sand flats, but since I'm local I could go up there on Thursday and try to get a few adjacent sites before the friday crowds arrive. If anyone is thinking about coming down on thursday (or earlier) let me know and we can coordinate. Anything else that I'm forgetting that I can take care of?

    cool, just booked a flight.

Is it better to carry the MTB on the flight or ship ahead of time?

You can ship to a shop in Moab. Probably cheaper than bringing it back and forth on the plane.

I would like to join this ride, but the 2000' of climbing gives me pause. Are you guys the 'climb till you puke' sort or able to stop for the view occasionally? I have ridden the Porcupine section but not the top section.
